Who Am I?

I am Shashi, 50 years old, a loving father, husband, son, uncle, and friend.

My Interests:

I am passionate about wildlife and automobiles, and love to travel and immerse myself in new cultures, experiences, and food. Above all, I treasure time with my family and friends and bring laughter and joy to every conversation.

My Diagnosis:

What started as a persistent cough and congestion, ended me up in ER due to high creatinine levels. After biopsy, it was concluded I had a kidney failure due to an autoimmune condition - IgaN. The diagnosis of kidney failure came as an unimaginable shock to me and my loved ones.

How A Kidney Transplant Will Affect My Life:

Today, I am hoping to find a living kidney donor who can give me the chance at a healthier, fuller future and most importantly, more time with the people I love. A kidney donation could give me the opportunity to continue being the devoted father, husband, son, uncle, and friend. More importantly, go visit my family on the other side of the world when they need me the most.
