Who Am I?

I am a sister, mother, and grandmother. I am an author, editor, ghostwriter, and self-publisher who has been writing poetry since 1st grade and passing my poems to anyone I saw hurting for any reason, to brighten their day, all the way through college and beyond. I believe we all want two things when we are hurting: 1) Do you see me? 2) Do I matter? My wish for a living kidney donor will afford me more opportunities to tell more stories.

My Interests:

To travel the world, helping others put their pens to paper, sharing their stories of trials, trust, and triumphs in ways they never thought possible.

How A Kidney Transplant Will Affect My Life:

A kidney transplant will help me reach my goal to train and walk, not run, my last half-marathon at age 100. I've trained and crossed 32 finish lines spanning 4,264 miles for the American Stroke Association.
