Who Am I?

Hello, my name is Bonnie Sheeder. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and dog mom. Being a grandmother has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I've worked for AML/QUEST for 35 years and I was lucky to find a career in IT which I truly loved.

My Interests:

I enjoy meeting up with friends, family and taking care of my fur baby, Ali Rose. In October we lost Bella, who was her little sister. But as my kidney disease has progressed, I no longer have energy for these simple pleasures.

My Diagnosis:

I was diagnosed with CKD Stage 5 in November 2025. Living with end stage renal failure is exhausting. Physically and mentally, it drains me. Simple everyday things like making dinner, running errands, and doing laundry often feel impossible.

How A Kidney Transplant Will Affect My Life:

Tom, my husband, has been my rock and supports me in everything I do. Driving me to all doctor appointments
and surgeries. I have only one kidney and I hope there is one generous person out there who will become my living kidney donor.
