Who Am I?
I’m a proud father of two, a husband, and a full-time worker at a manufacturing facility. I’ve been living with type 1 diabetes and am currently on dialysis, hoping for a second chance through a kidney transplant. Outside of work, I volunteer as a winter basketball coach with the YMCA — mentoring kids and staying connected to my community is something I truly love. I’m doing my best to stay strong for my family, and every day I fight to be present for them. I’m reaching out now because I want more time — to work, to coach, to be the dad and husband they deserve.
My Interests:
My interests are reading, spending time with my family, and trying new things, like hiking.
My Diagnosis:
My diagnosis is End-stage renal disease or kidney failure, and Type 1 diabetes.
How A Kidney Transplant Will Affect My Life:
A kidney transplant would be life-changing for me and my family. It would free me from the daily burden of dialysis and give me back the energy and freedom to be more present for my wife and kids. I’d be able to coach basketball without feeling drained, work full-time without pushing through exhaustion, and just enjoy everyday moments again without always worrying about my health. It would mean a second chance to live fully, not just survive. More than anything, it would give my children their dad back — stronger, healthier, and with more time to make memories with them.
My Blood Type: B
