Who Am I?

I graduated from high school. I worked at Dr. pepper as a merchandiser. I also worked at a restaurant called Pelicans Wharf as a busboy. On December 2, 2001, at about 7 am on my way to work a drunk driver hit me head on. I broke both my legs (left femur, toe, and ankle), requiring a lot of physical therapy. After about 7 years in a wheelchair, I finally started walking with a walker, then forearms crutches, and now a cane.

After all of that, I came down with kidney disease. I fought that for a good 5 years, maybe longer. I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs. The kidney damage could have been a result of the car accident.

My Interests:

I enjoy radio-controlled cars, photography, fishing, watching sports, camping, art, going to the theater, cooking, watching tv, shopping, traveling, and music. I also enjoy swinging, fixing things, making necklaces and bracelets, hobby stuff, putting together model vehicles / planes, train sets, puzzles, video games, adventures, and more.

My Diagnosis:

I have ESRD. I am currently on dialysis, every night starting at around 9 pm, lasting for 7 hours.

How A Kidney Transplant Will Affect My Life:

A kidney transplant would save my life. A dialysis machine is helping me stay alive, but being on dialysis for a long time is hard on the body. It could cause more harm, the longer I stay on it. Please consider being my kidney donor, it would mean a lot.

My Blood Type: O
